Timberland boots are so warm, you don't have to wear socks and your feet don't sweat at all, they are easy to throw on and so comfy. I even throw them on in the house to just walk around in sometimes.

Present to my Son - My son moved from Las Vegas to Grand Junction, CO. late August. I couldn't get a hold of him only to find out he was in the hospital really sick due to his lack of cold weather gear. Asked him what he needed the most and he said waterproof work boots. I ordered him a pair and he had them on his feet in 2 days and absolutely loved them. He said his feet are dry, warm, and totally comfortable.
